Cairo is often hostile when the Red Devils of Egypt play, but Klate said that they are not afraid of the pressure that comes with playing the Caf Champions League holders in their own backyard.

“We are aware that there will be fans this time around, and we are also aware of the hostility that is there when Al Ahly plays in Cairo, but we are not scared,” Klate told reporters.
Pirates weathered the storm in Lubumbashi earlier this year, and Klate revealed that they have learnt to focus on what’s happening on the field than in the stands.
“Even our coach (Roger de Sa) told us that at the end of the day it will be 11 against 11 and therefore we won’t be focusing on whatever that will be happening outside the pitch,” he said.
