Orlando Pirates PRO Mickey Modisane has confirmed to Goal that Lucky Lekgwathi has been included in the squad to face Al Ahly in the Caf Champions League final on Saturday.

The veteran defender has missed the last six games, but his inclusion in the team will come as a massive boost to the Pirates defence.

“Lucky is back in the team, but whether he will play or not, I cannot confirm because that’s the job of the technical team,” Modisane told Goal.

Lekgwathi is unlikely to walk straight into the starting line-up with Ayanda Gcaba and Rooi Mahamutsa expected to start at the centre-back positions.

The two defenders played well against Esperance in Tunisia, but coach Roger de Sa is certainly expecting a better performance from them, as he is hoping for a clean sheet.

Meanwhile, Modisane revealed that Thandani Ntshumayelo is facing a late fitness test having trained with the rest of his teammates since the beginning of the week.
