Pirates will need to beat Al Ahly in Orlando to ensure their progress to the next round of the Caf Champions League
The Sea Robbers lost their second successive game in Congo on Saturday afternoon, and De Sa says his players tried their best to win the game.
“We’re disappointed with the result obviously and under trying conditions. What you see on TV is far from what we experience,” De Sa said after the game. “It was always going to be difficult, but the boys did their best and we can’t fault them on that,” he said.

Pirates will have another chance to book their spot in the semi-finals when they take on Al Ahly next weekend, and the Bucs coach believes they are still in the tournament.
“We are still in it. We have Al Ahly next week and we will get to play some football on a proper pitch. All is not lost,” added De Sa.

De Sa admitted that they had to change their style of play due to a bumpy surface in Congo, and he believes that is one of the things that influenced the outcome of the game.
“We tried to settle quickly, string a few passes, but on a bumpy pitch the plan had to change. We adapted as best as we could,” concluded De Sa.
