There wasn't much between the clubs in the postponed Caf African Champions League game between Coton Sport of Cameroon and Sewe Sport of Ivory Coast
After the Ivory Coast club's striker Jacque Haman was sent off in the 38th minute, the Cameroon side stepped up a gear to play an offensive game. The Ivorians visibly played for a draw, contented in defending.
The lone goal came in at the 58th minute by Alexis Yougouda who pounced on a loose ball in the penalty box by goalkeeper Sylvain Gbohouo of Sewe Sport.
A late rally by Sewe proved unproductive as Coton held firm in the last quarter of the match to register its first victory in the group stages. This promises to be a tight group where all four contenders have each registered a victory and a defeat after two match days of play.
Originally to be played on July 20th, this encounter was rescheduled due to Fifa's initial suspension of Cameroon.
