|4/7||Luis Suarez is 4/7 with Paddy Power to join Real Madrid
"These things happen in life," Cavani told Perform. "When you are on the pitch you are really excited and you have to deal with some situations you are not used to. It's not fair to judge a person for one thing on the pitch when there is a match going on and you are extra excited, sometimes you make a mistake.
"These things happen and what’s important is that [Suarez] recognised he made a mistake."
Cavani, whose own future is also undecided, rates Suarez as one of the most talented strikers in the game and feels the Premier League approach suits him, but is unsure where he will be plying his trade next term.
"Playing beside Luis Suarez you get used to it [media attention] over time," he continued. "We play for the same national team and that is awesome because we are playing around the world for our teams and we share the national team's colour. He is a great player and he has some great qualities, he is very well known around the world and to play alongside him is wonderful."
"[An exit from Liverpool] depends on many things," he added. "I think English football suits him because it is the kind of play that he likes, but in the end it is a personal decision. He is the only person who knows where he will play; even I don't know what my future will be. So I can’t think about other people"
