National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) team Boston Breakers have signed a new sponsorship deal with Steward Health Care System.
Steward, a community-based health care network across Eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, will be the new title sponsor of the team, as well as its health care provider.
The company will sponsor the Breakers’ youth teams and projects, in addition to the senior side.
“We are pleased to sponsor the Breakers’ Professional and Academy teams and provide orthopedic and sports medicine care to the players,” said Dr. Robert Nascimento, director of the bone and joint centre at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton.
“This is a great opportunity for us to work with athletes of all ages, across many of the communities we serve.”
