Argentina has become the latest country to commit to having a major presence at the Soccerex Global Convention, which this year takes place at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro from November 30 to December 5.

With Argentina now safely qualified for next year’s World Cup, the vast delegation will be joining senior representatives from the Argentine Football Association, who will already be in Brazil for the final draw of the tournament, which takes place directly after the Convention. Leading the delegation is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship, which will again be taking a dedicated pavilion to promote Argentina and a number of companies that offer products and services to the sports industry including Data Factory, Casa Bianchi with their ‘Leo’ wines developed in partnership with the Leo Messi Foundation, BioDeport, Sport MKT Group and Paso a Paso. The stand will also be bringing Boca Juniors and Racing Club de Avellaneda to present their respective social responsibility projects.

In addition to the pavilion, the exhibition will also feature a significant Argentine presence where a number of top clubs will have stands including Club Atlético Vélez Sarsfield, Newell’s Old Boys, Racing Club de Avellaneda and Club Atlético Huracán. Marketing Registrado, the biggest sports marketing community in Latin America, has signed up as the Hispanic American media supporters for the Global Convention. They will be interviewing some of the industry’s biggest names for their multi-channel communications platforms, including a weekly TV show on the region’s leading sports broadcaster, Fox Sports.  Other Argentine businesses signed up include: Fox Sports Latin America, Torneos, Librofutbol.com, Cactus and Club Atletico Belgrano amongst others.

Marketing Registrado CEO, Máximo Palma, said: “For us it’s a great honour Soccerex chose us as media partners. Having been part of various editions of the event and given our involvement in Latin America’s sports industry, we truly appreciate Soccerex’s pedigree and importance as the leading event for the world of business and football.” For full information about Soccerex and future Soccerex events please visit www.soccerex.com/global, call +44 (0)20 8987 5522 or email enquiry@soccerex.com.
