The Royal Belgium Football Association (KBVB), Eurosport, Huggity, 20.20 and Repucom will all be presenting on industry specific workshops at this year’s Soccerex European Forum on 10-11 April, Manchester.

The Royal Belgium Football Association (KBVB), Eurosport, Huggity, 20.20 and Repucom will all be presenting on industry specific workshops at this year’s Soccerex European Forum on 10-11 April, Manchester.

The KBVB’s workshop, led by CEO Steven Martens, will see them joined by creative agency Boondoggle Electric and Belgian national broadcaster, Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie (VRT) to discuss how they, alongside the players and fans have co-created the new Belgian Red Devils brand through a series of engaging and unique campaigns.

Eurosport’s New Media Director, Arnaud Maillard will be joining AC Milan and AS Roma on the ‘Monetising Social Media’ panel to discuss how Eurosport is using social media to attract, entertain and engage with sports fans as a complementary medium to their live TV output and their online news channels.

Huggity, the market leader in fan engagement will be using international case studies and first-hand accounts from clubs and sponsors, Huggity CEO Mike Sikorski will look at the ways social media can be used to introduce new sponsorship inventory, engage with fans globally and introduce new revenue streams.

Alongside this, strategic design consultancy 20.20, known for creating world-class fan experiences at general admission and club level, will be joined by Liverpool Football Club and Wembley Stadium to discuss the ‘Future of the Match Day Experience’ at their respective stadiums.

Repucom, a specialist sport market research company, will explain the need for football clubs to generate the most value from their sponsorship assets and what football can learn from other sports and industries outside the world of sport.

The Soccerex European Forum is a two-day event which attracts over 1,600 delegates from the elite of Europe’s football industry to come together to debate, network and do business. This year’s agenda setting conference programme will tackle the key issues shaping European football, including fan engagement, media rights, match fixing, discrimination and addiction, life after football, social media and a selection of special 1-2-1 sessions with Gianni Infantino, Alexey Sorokin, Sir John Madejski, Sir Bobby Charlton and Gary Neville.
