Arsenal has relaunched its official website in a move it believes will allow fans from around the world to gain easier access to the latest news from the English Premier League club.

Following extensive research and feedback from supporters, the new site works across desktop, tablet and mobile devices, and has been designed to give fans improved access to content. Along with cleaner navigation, the site features a range of TV features with playing and coaching staff.

Due to 20% of existing traffic coming from mobile handsets, the ability to access content across social platforms has also been developed – with improved links to Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest allowing for easier sharing of content. The website currently receives over five million global unique users a month, and the club is hoping these new features will improve this figure and make it the top reference site for Arsenal fans worldwide.

Head of the Arsenal Media Group, Michael Leavey, said: “One of our main aims is to make it easier for our fans to share content across social media platforms with one click, wherever they are in the world. This will help fans to interact globally, while also giving the club new ways to engage and interact with supporters.”
