The German Football Association (DFB) has announced that Flyeralarm has signed a deal to become the new premium partner of Germany’s women’s national team.
The agreement with the online printing company will run through 2015 and comes as Germany prepares to defend its title at the UEFA Women’s Championship, which will be held in July in Sweden. The contract applies to all of Germany’s national teams, while the DFB added that Flyeralarm has also extended its sponsorship of the men’s team through to the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
“We are delighted to have won in Flyeralarm another strong partner for the women’s team,” said DFB general secretary Helmut Sandrock. “This is a sign of the importance of our DFB women who are standing even more in the public eye in what is a European Championship year.”
Thorsten Fischer, CEO of Flyeralarm, added: “We are very proud that we will now work even more intensely with the DFB. It has long been our desire to partner the DFB women. We identify with the successful and likeable athletes of our team and look forward together to the upcoming sporting challenges.”
