Warrior Sports has made further inroads into the football market by making Japanese J. League club Sagan Tosu its third signing.
The American firm has signed a kit deal with the club, which is located in the city of Tosu on the southerly Kyushu Island. Sagan Tosu completed its first season in the top flight of the J. League in 2012, finishing fifth in Division 1.
Minoru Takehara, president of Sagan Tosu, said: “We are very happy to have been selected as Warrior’s first club signing in Asia and have no doubt this will be a beneficial partnership for all parties.”
Warrior made Spanish Primera Division giant Sevilla its second signing in December, while it entered the football market in January 2012 by agreeing a contract with English Premier League club Liverpool.
