Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will return to England on Wednesday after failing to recover from a knee injury while on international duty.
The 24-year-old met up with the Argentina squad on Monday, but Alejandro Sabella’s medical staff deemed it unwise to risk him in the upcoming World Cup qualifying double-header against Venezuela and Bolivia.

Aguero has not featured for City since a 2-0 win over Chelsea on February 24, with Carlos Tevez and Dzeko leading the line for the champions in his absence as Manchester United have opened up a 15-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
