The Ghanaian youngster has lauded the Dutch legend for the role he has played in his career
Ghana youngster Shadrach Eghan has stated that former Dutch international Patrick Kluivert inspired him and honed his talent when he arrived in The Netherlands.
Eghan was placed under the watchful eyes of Kluivert, who helped him to make a quick transition to Dutch football in 2011.
“Kluivert was my first coach at FC Twente. I was totally impressed by the way he inspired and taught me how to score goals,” Eghan told BBC.
The impact of the 37-year-old has yielded dividends now as Eghan has become an immense component of Twente, scoring four goals in 17 appearances this season.
