The Stade Velodrome outfit is tracking the French player as a replacement for the Ghanaian striker who is likely to be farmed out this transfer window
Olympique Marseille are in talks with AC Milan’s Mbaye Niang to replace Ghana striker Jordan Ayew, who is a probable loan candidate.
According to Maxifoot, talks have already started with the Rossoneri who might release Niang on loan in January.
Abedi Pele’s son is reportedly on the radar of Bastia, Nice, West Ham and Hull City. He has featured 21 times this season and scored just twice.
Niang, who has previously played for Caen, has failed to shine in Milan scoring a goal in 24 games last season.
A loan deal comes at no cost to the Ligue 1 side as they prepare to buy a permanent striker in the summer.
