In the Ligue 2, striker Kwame Nsor was introduced by Metz in the 71st minute as they beat Dijon by two goals to nothing. Denis Appiah also played 90 minutes for Caen who humiliated Istres 4-0.
In the Dutch Eredivisie, Christian Atsu scored a penalty goal in the 31st minute and played the entire duration as Vitesse Arhnem moved to the top of the league by beating FC Utrecht 3-1.
Teenager Shadrach Eghan played 60 minutes for FC Twente who went away to draw 1-1 with PEC Zwolle. Striker Fred Benson was not in the Zwolle squad because of a red card suspension. Gilbert Koomson was an unused substitute for the losing side.
