Ghana off to Ethiopia without six players

The six will be joining the four-time Africa champions in the east African country later as they set camp ahead of the World Cup qualifying game against Sudan
The Black Stars have left the shores of Ghana without six called up players for June’s 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho.

The six - Mohammed Rabiu and Jonathan Mensah of Evian, TP Mazembe duo Solomon Asante, Richard Kissi-Boateng, Harrison Afful of Esperance and Espanyol’s Mubarak Wakaso - will be joining the team in Ethiopia later.

Coach Kwesi Appiah left Accra on Thursday afternoon with 19 players after three days of training.

Ghana will play Sudan on June 7 before flying out to Maseru to face Lesotho on June 16.
