The African football governing body says the Liberian official violated the statutes of the institution
Caf has imposed a six-month suspension on the president of the Liberia Football Federation, Musa Bility, after he was found guilty of using confidential documents.
Caf’s Disciplinary Board announced after a meeting in Marrakech, Morocco that Bility would not be allowed to participate in football activities for the next six months and that the Liberian football body will pay a fine of $10.000 (€7,655).
Bility violated Articles 2 and 7 of Caf statutes by using its Executive Committee minutes without prior approval from the body, according to the disciplinary board.
Liberian officials did not return Goal.com’s request for a comment on the issue.
