The Amidaus Professionals safest pair of hands says he will grab the opportunity as soon as his club gives the South African club the green light to open negotiationsAmidaus Professionals goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi claims he was approached by South African side Ajax Cape Town during his national assignment with the Black Satellites in Algeria.
The Ghana Under-20 first-choice shot-stopper put up a man-of-the-match performance for the west Africans at the African Youth Championship that helped them grab silver after a grueling final with Egypt.
Antwi told Boss FM he will be interested to land a deal with the South African club if his Ghana Premier League outfit endorses the move.
“I was approached during the AYC in Algeria and directed them to management of Amidaus,” the promising last line of defence revealed. “I have a year left at Amidaus but if they permit me to join Ajax, I will gladly accept the move without hesitation.”
“Opportunity comes but once so I will not drag my feet since I don’t know what the future holds. However, I will only move if the deal is right,” Antwi added.
