The budding German striker of Ghanaian origin could play for the Black Starlets at the Under-17 World Cup in UAE if the Ghana FA makes an approach for a nationality switch
The Wolfsburg star who is the kingpin of the German national U16 team told Goal.com Ghana: “The most important thing is that I will get the invite. I will sit down with my parents and we will talk whether to start playing for Ghana at junior level or wait.”
Iddrisu added: “Though I am now playing for the German Under-16, I was born in Ghana and I am a Ghanaian.”
Iddrisu is the son of former Black Starlets striker Abu Iddrisu who scored the winning goal for Ghana to annex the 1995 world U17 cup in Ecuador.
