The former Kano Pillars midfielder is almost ready to play his first game for his new Scottish side
Coach Kenny Shiels revealed that Gabriel has done very well in training and is in line to make his debut for Killie against St Mirren this Wednesday or against Dundee United this weekend.
"He has done so well in training and I am happy with what I have seen in him and I am sure that he will do well in his first game.
Last week, Papa Idris and Reuben joined Scottish Premier League (SPL) club, Kilmarnock FC and are already being tipped by the club manager to go places.
"We have signed two good players who will strengthen the team for the remaining matches in the season," Shiels said.
Meanwhile, Kano Pillars chairman Abba Galadima has disclosed that the two players left the club as free agents since their contracts expired.
"I need to set the record straight so that everybody will know what happened before the two players left the club.
"We have been able to replace the players with good boys who will do their best this season," Galadima concluded.
