Ghana and AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari says his club mate Kevin-Prince Boateng is getting closer to rescinding his decision to quit the Black Stars.
The former Portsmouth and Inter Milan midfielder told Goal.com Ghana that the German-born player has been consistently talking about the national team, indicating he still loves the Black Stars.
The 26-year-old stunned the world with his decision to retire from the national team in 2011, just about a year after securing a nationality switch to play for Ghana.
But Muntari says his team-mate will rescind that decision soon.
“Prince is a cool guy,” the left-footed player said. “He was having some little problems that is why he decided to stay back but he always talks about the national team so hopefully one day he will change his mind.”
“He is a fantastic player and definitely we will need him here.”
