The foreign-based players of Ghana are expected in the country on Monday as Kwesi Appiah wants to start serious preparations for the Sudan game in KumasiThe 20 foreign-based players invited for the Ghana - Sudan World Cup qualifier are to arrive in the country from March 18 to start preparations ahead of the epic clash.
Goal.com Ghana understands that when they arrive on Monday they will move straight to camp to join the four local players in order to step up preparations for the game.
The team is expected to engage a lower division side before moving to Kumasi where they will continue their preparations for the game on March 24.
Currently, Ghana are lying second in the group behind Zambia and only a win against the Falcons of Jediane will put them back on track for Brazil 2014.
Ghana's last encounter with Sudan at home was in 2011 and the game which was a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier ended in a draw.
