Peter Ndlovu facing charges of culpable homicide following his brother’s death

Zimbabwean Peter Ndlovu has been summoned to face charges of culpable homicide related to a car accident together with Adam Ndlovu back in December

Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Coventry City striker Peter Ndlovu is in court after culpable homicide charges were laid against him. He was driving the car resulting in a tragic accident in December last year, where his brother Adam Ndlovu together with a female passenger lost their lives.

Peter Ndlovu spent weeks in hospital as he was recovering from the resultant accident, and remained the only survivor. Ndlovu was reportedly driving at high speed when the car crashed.

The court felt that Ndlovu has fully recovered to face the charges, and the former player himself told newzimbabwe.com that he has recovered.

“The love I got from Zimbabweans was overwhelming and now I'm almost fully recovered,” said Ndlovu.

Prior to the accident, Ndlovu was believed to be on the wanted list of top Zimbabwean teams, as a coach, and he will be hoping to return to football after the verdict from court.

He admitted that he misses playing soccer, and is now playing socially for maintaining his fitness and health.

“I’m able to walk and I'm optimistic that I will be fit to play social soccer again soon,” he said.

Adam Ndlovu is a former Moroka Swallows and Free State Stars striker, and the tragic accident resulted in warm wishes for African soccer hero Peter having a good recovery.

At the time of his death Adam Ndlovu was in charge of the Chicken Inn club, who he helped to third in the 2012 Zimbabwe Premier League season.
