Real Zaragoza - Barcelona Betting Preview: Back both teams to score in Aragon on Sunday night

With the Catalan giants beset by some key injuries, our La Liga expert Phil Kitromilides believes the home side should be able to score against them on Sunday
Zaragoza host Barcelona on Sunday night desperately seeking points in their battle to avoid relegation. The only team in Spain, and indeed any of the major European leagues without a win in 2013, Zaragoza know an unlikely victory over the Catalans could prove a catalyst in their fight against the drop.

BetVictor price Manolo Jimenez's team at 13/2 (7.50) to record their first win of the year while Barca themselves can be backed at 9/20 (1.45).

Wednesday's Champions League draw against Paris Saint-Germain showed just how much of Barca's attacking play goes through Lionel Messi, with the Argentine coming off the bench to galvanize his side to progression despite an injury.

Having been forced into action then at the Camp Nou, Barcelona have opted to leave their talisman out of the squad for Sunday's game in a bid to have him fully fit for the semi-final against Bayern Munich.

While that does not mean Zaragoza will win, they will certainly feel more confident if Messi does not feature, while at the back Barca are struggling with something resembling an injury crisis.

With Puyol, Mascherano and Adriano all missing, the Blaugrana's back line might be a little improvised, and backing Zaragoza to score looks wise.

Both teams to score is offered at 8/11 (1.73) and with this bet having paid out in 10 of Barca's last 11 away games, it would appear to be a solid selection.

If we are backing Zaragoza to score, the man most likely to do so is Helder Postiga with the Portugual international having netted 11 times this season. The price of 12/5 (3.40) for him to sore at any time is worthy of consideration for a value bet.
