'I have no agreement with Barcelona' - Neymar
The Brazilian starlet has denied rumours that Santos have already completed a deal with the Catalan giants that would see him join the club either next summer or in 2014
Neymar has dismissed reports of a pre-existing agreement that will see him move from Santos to Barcelona, reaffirming his commitment to his current club.Reports emerged in October from RAC1, amongst others, that the Blaugrana had reached a deal whereby they would pay €10 million up front with a view to a €40 million transfer either in the summer of 2013 or after the 2014 World Cup.
However, in an interview with Uruguayan newspaper El Pais, the forward himself denied that any such arrangement had been made.
"I have no agreement with Barcelona or anyone else," said the 20-year-old Brazil international after winning the newspaper's prestigious 'King of South American Football' award, which he collected in Montevideo.
"The only thing I have signed is with Santos, and I'm happy. They're a big club with whom I'm under contract until 2014.
"The most important thing is to be happy, and I'm with my family. My objective is to help Santos and Brazil, and the best will come with hard work."
