Rivaldo leaves Kabuscorp
The former Brazil international has posted a farewell message on Twitter, stating that he leaves Angola with a sense of accomplishment
Rivaldo has announced his departure from Angolan side Kabuscorp, 11 months after joining the club.The experienced midfielder will soon return to Africa to continue working on the Rivaldo10 Institute, and says the country will be forever in his heart.
"It's a day to say goodbye here in Angola, but that's only in football. I'm sure Angola will always be like a second home to me. Special moments with the kids today. Thank you God for this very special year," he wrote on his official page.
The 40-year-old had previously hinted at his retirement after picking up a shoulder injury in October, leaving his future in the sport uncertain.
Rivaldo appeared 74 times for his country, scoring 34 goals.
