South Africa and Burkina Faso meet during the Nelson Mandela Sports and Culture Day on Saturday, with the hosts determined to put their disappointing 2-0 defeat to Nigeria behind them.

The match will follow a clash between football legends from South Africa and Italy, with the Springboks set to face Argentina after Bafana Bafana play Bukina Faso.

Two goals from Uche Nwafor were enough to see off a largely second-rate South African side during the Nelson Mandela challenge on Wednesday night, with Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund claiming that his team will learn from their mistakes.

South Africa may start a wholly different side from the one which played against Nigeria, with Dean Furman and Tokelo Rantie released to re-join their clubs in Sweden and England.

Luvuyo Nomandela is touted to earn his first start for Bafana Bafana, after coming off the bench against Nigeria on Wednesday night.

Burkina Faso enter into Saturday's match confident following a shock victory over Morocco in Tangiers, with Bertrand Traore and Abdou Razack Traore scoring against the Atlas Lions.

The Burkinabe will also test Bafana Bafana's strength in depth and return to South Africa for the first time since their impressive Afcon 2013 performance.

Follow all the action LIVE on Goal South Africa, with live commentary beginning at 13:00 on Saturday afternoon.
