Looked shaky at times with some poor kicking but made a great stop to deny Messi in the 13th minute. After being left with no chance by Fabregas' strike early in the second half, he denied Messi again on the hour mark but was beaten twice in the final quarter.
The Brazilian continued his decent start to his Sevilla career with another solid performance. He was perhaps beaten by Alba and Pedro a couple more times than he should have been in the second half, though.
The left-back had a solid night as he kept close tabs on Alexis throughout, limiting his involvement in the game. He refused to get drawn up the pitch during his side's attacks and will be ruing the late goals.
The Bosnian kept Sevilla watertight until the later stages. He restricted the area that Messi could operate in but with 10 men for the final 20 minutes his defence were broken down and ended up with nothing.
Refused to allow the opposition any time on the ball, unsettling them as he charged around the park. He also had a hand in both of the goals for his side but a moment of madness saw him dismissed in the 72nd minute.
Provided a very strong presence in the heart of Sevilla's defence. He stayed tight alongside Spahic and used his physical advantage over the Barca attackers on every possible occasion.
Had an excellent game as he disrupted the usually fluid play of Barcelona in the middle. He made a number of crucial interceptions, particularly his goal-line block to deny Messi in the first half, as well as some crunching tackles.
The Croatian was hugely influential in behind Negredo as he pulled all the strings for Sevilla. His distribution was key to their dangerous counterattacks in what was a very impressive display.
Put in a very lively shift and frequently worried Alves. He did well to stay composed and drill the opening goal past Valdes but was withdrawn after 38 minutes having picked up a knock.
Did not do enough in the final third for his side but his pace limited the attacking impact of Jordi Alba in the first half. After the break he was hugely ineffectual, failing to track the left-back and offering nothing up front.
Ensured that Song and Mascherano would not have an easy night by playing on their shoulder and testing their positioning. He showed immense composure to dink over Valdes early in the second half.
Not the greatest of performances for the Barca keeper as he failed to keep out Trochowski's strike despite getting a hand to hand it. He was then embarrassed with a lovely goal from Negredo, though there was little he could do.
Found it difficult to get up and support Pedro in the first half as Navas would have been ready to exploit any slip-up. Became more adventurous after the break and his crosses were always a source of danger.
Pushed forward regularly, and to great effect during the opening stages. However, he got caught out by Sevilla's swift breaks and he did not close Trochowski quick enough when he scored the hosts' first goal.
Was unfortunate that a deflection from him created the chance for Trochowski to open the scoring. Looked porous alongside Song but read the game well to limit the amount of space down the middle.
The winger had a good game as he ran the line well, especially linking up with Alba well in the second half. Saw a brilliant volley from the left-back's cross cleared off the line soon after Negredo's strike.
Always made himself an option to play the ball to when his team-mates were in possession. His passing was exemplary in the first half but a misplaced ball enabled Sevilla to break and score through Negredo.
Looked extremely lively with some typically sumptuous passing and forward runs. However, his influence waned drastically after Sevilla took the lead and from then on he was more reserved, though still distributed well.
Pushed on when Messi dropped into the deeper areas and did so to good effect. Netted a wonderfully accurate strike soon after the break and brought his side level with another goal in the closing stages. His antics in getting Medel were sent off were unpleasant, but ultimately decisive.
Looked comfortable playing the ball about during the early exchanges but soon showed that the signs of a player out of position. Guilty of following the ball, he was out of position on the first goal before being too weak for the second.
Was in a bullish mood early on as his direct running and pace won his side a number of free kicks. He only threatened in the area sparsely with a single shot into the side netting the highlight of his game.
The Argentine had a fairly average night until two late assists capped a decent night. Dropped off and linked the play well but should have got a goal before the break. Only denied by a brilliant Palop save in the second half.
Came on for Alexis in the 72nd minute and helped pin Sevilla back in their own half with some impressive distribution in the midfield.
Had the Sevilla full-backs backtracking with his direct running but will be frustrated by his lacklustre final ball.
Replaced Alves in the 79th minute and netted the winner for his side after a great give-and-go with Messi.
