SuperSport United travel to Platinum Stars' hunting ground on Sunday, in what promises to be an intriguing battle at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, with Cavin Johnson looking to defeat his former club.
Johnson left Stars in June this year and will be eager to bag three points as he seeks to continue SuperSport's solid start to the season.
Matsatsantsa currently holds top spot on the league standings, five points ahead of Dikwena, who suffered a 2-0 defeat to Moroka Swallows in their last game.
Both sides play attacking football, an ethos which Cavin Johnson instilled in his former club last season and brought to SuperSport United during the early stages of the current campaign.
Platinum Stars have been able to remain unbeaten in the Royal Bafokeng Stadium this season, with two wins and two draws from their four home games.
However, their home form against SuperSport has not been strong in the recent past, which should give the visiting side confidence going into the clash on Sunday afternoon.
The match gives SuperSport an opportunity to maintain their spot on the top of the league standings, something which many sides have struggled to achieve this season.
