Game up! Sundowns win. And so too is Pirates hopes for a third league title in a row. All Kaizer Chiefs need to do is win their next game and the PSL crown is theirs after Platinum Stars 2-1 loss against Golden Arrows in Durban.

GOAL!!!!!!! SUNDOWNS!!! Drama out there!!!!! It is Alje Schut the giant Dutch defender who wins the game for Sundowns after Shongwe whipped in cross to find a diving Shchut who heads home.

Five minutes added on here. Enough time for either side to conjure up a goal. The stadium has been waiting patiently for 90 minutes.
Okonkwo floats in a free-kick and Lekghwati tries to be captain fantastic but his header goes wide.
Yellow Card Teko
As I say that Teko Modise is awarded a yellow card for time wasting!
Okonkwo is brought down but the referee does not show a card. He has not shown a single yellow card this entire match despite some tough challenges.
Platinum Stars have got a goal back in Durban, but it may be too little too late for both of the members of the chasing pack as Pirates continue to search for that elusive goal.
CHANCE FOR PIRATES!! Suddenly the match comes alive as Manyisa keeps the ball alive with a sliding cross at the far post. Jele finds the ball at his feet inside the box but his effort is blocked when a goal seemed likely for the hosts.
An energetic run from Mokoro resluts in a corner for Pirates. Cries for hand ball are heard after the same player laces in a good corner kick.
Dutch defender Alje Schut is on the floor with an ankle injury it seems. Pirates have a free kick and Masuku steps up. A good delivery but Mabena gets the last touch out for a goal-kick.
Masuku has an effort at goal but his left-footed strike is...off target. A common theme this afternoon unfortunately.
Mbesuma has been stretchered off and Sundowns have brought on Mphela for Henyekane to try and spice up this rather dire second half.

Modise's effort clashes into the wall and Mbesuma is down after his head connected with the ball. The striker is about to replaced with Mabena and this injury might just fast track the substitution.
Contentious free kick outside the area and Sundowns have a chance from a good position.
Finally De Sa makes a change as Makoro replaces an exhausted Daine Klate.
A tired looking shot from Modise goes wide after the the General makes a promising run at goal.
The Pirates fans are calling for changes and are trying to lift their side towards victory. The match has completely run out of gas and someone needs to spark something out there or we could be heading to a 0-0!
HENYEKANE HAS A CHANCE! The speedy striker is free on goal but Meyiwa bursts forward and performs a fantastic challenge on the striker who goes down after the save. Pirates' trip to the DR Congo seems to be taking its toll as the team struggles to keep up their initial intensity.
The players are looking tired out there as the effects of a long season begins to catch up with them. This game needs a goal though as both sides struggle to make hay of any possession. De Sa casts a frustrated figure on the sidelines.
Golden Arrows are beating Platinum Stars 2-0 in Durban, which means that Pirates could finish second this season but need to find the back of the net this afternoon.
Sundowns waste a good chance to get a shot at goal as Kekana hesitates on the ball allowing for Pirates to win back possession and try to build their own attack. The play is becoming a tad stagnant out there.
Good skills from Phungwayo means Pirates have a chance to create something down the left, but Klate is cut down only for the referee to wave away calls for a free-kick. The home fans are venting their frustration with that decision!
Nyasha Liberty Mushekwi
Another effort from Pirates and Okonkwo! It is is wide again though but a goal really does seem inevitable for the hosts out there.
Two corners in a row for Pirates but Masuku can't create another opportunity as his corner goes out for a goal kick.
FANTASTIC save from Sandilands! Mbesuma makes another bustling run toward goals and unleashes a left-footed drive but the in-form keeper is able to tip the ball over the post for a corner.
Okonkwo hits a shot but he slips just before striking the football and his effort flies high and wide. Pirates are looking good in and around Sundowns box.
Some errant passing from Sundowns has allowed Pirates to pile on continued pressure at the beginning of this second half.
Pirates get us underway and Collins Mbesuma is offered an early chance as he makes an unchallenged run into the box, but Arendse keeps his effort away from goal at the last second.
We are nearing kick-off in the second half as this key PSL match continues in Soweto. Pirates will be desperate for victory and may throw everything forward in an attempt to win the required three points.

The first half is up after the referee adds another minute. Exciting stuff out there but the lack of goals will concern both coaches. Join Goal,com South Africa in 15 minutes for the second half in this intriguing tie.

The referee stops play much to Okonkwo's disgust as a Sundowns player is down in the box after another clash of heads. Two minutes to be added on here.
Mbesuma finds himself at the near post and tries to sneak an effort past Sandilands but the keeper is up to the challenge and Pirates have a corner!
Ntshumayelo!! A good run from the attacker but his shot is not on target. This match is turning electric late in the first half!
ARENDSE! The defender's header crashes into the crossbar and Sundowns are denied the opener! Pirates break forward.
Modise finds the target! But Meyiwa stands in his way. After just praising the goalkeeper, he shows off his ability once again with a good save low to the ground.
Henyekane is caught offside right in front of goal but Meyiwa shows off his current form as he saves the striker's attempt with an acrobatic jump.
Nothing comes from the free-kick as Arendse sends his headed effort wide after receiving a cross from Modise.
Heneyekane is brought down by Jele and Sundowns are awarded another free-kick chance.
Sundowns waste a chance to profit from a free kick after a foul in the area, which means Pirates can launch an attack through Daine Klate.
Sundowns look completely out of sorts in possession and are struggling to get past a solid Pirates defence. Meanwhile, Mphalhlele fouls Klate with a late challenge after the winger looked to get past him down the left flank.
Fantastic combination play is making life very difficult for Sundowns' defenders as Mbesuma unleashes a shot towards goal after linking up with Ntshumayelo. Pirates are on fire out there and should be a goal up.
PIRATES! The Buccaneers should have scored on three occasions there! Manyisa has the best chance with a shot from close range but his effort crashes into the crossbar.
Pirates begin to look confident again in possession but can't find that final ball, largely thanks to some solid defending from the experienced Alje Schut.
Mahamutsa and Sangweni clash heads in the area as Klate sends in a dangerous corner kick. The Sundowns defender looks out for the count.
MASUKU! Another long range effort but this time it is actually on target would you believe! A low right footed strike means Sandilands has to turn the ball around the right post for a corner.
Chance for Pirates! Mbesuma strikes for goal this time but his low drive goes wide past the left post.
Really poor effort from Ntshumayelo again as he tries to hit a shot with the side of his boot. Pirates fans give another roar of disgust once again.
Another strong challenge and this time from Kekana! Both sides mean business out there.
Henyekane! The striker receives the ball just outside the area and tries the spectacular but his volley flies wide.
Rooi Mahamutsa returns! The defender stops Teko Modise from unleashing a shot with a good tackle
Terrible attempt from Ntshumayelo as he tries a long range effort which almost flies out of Orlando Stadium. Groans from the crowd says it all...
Strong defending from Jele! Kekena bursts forward and tries to beat the defender but his no-nonsense tackle stops the forward in his tracks!
The last time Sundowns defeated Pirates was in 2010 and it looks as if the team from Pretoria will struggle to overcome a confident looking Pirates out there.
Sundowns build through some good play between Modise and Henyekane but Pirates can clear their lines after Langerman's cross is misdirected.
The Buccaneers are dominating possession as they search for gaps to expose Sundowns leaky defence.
Klate and Phungwayo are combining well down the left for Pirates but Sundowns have looked solid in the air when the duo send in crosses.
Pirates have taken control of possession since Sundowns' early pressure and are aiming to utilise the flanks as much as possible when they attack.
Jele breaks down the right flank and tries to feed a cross into the area, but his low ball is straight at the Pirates defenders. Good chance for Pirates!
Some enterprising play from Sundowns early on as Langerman bursts into the area and tries to find a teammate with a low cross, but Pirates clear their lines.
Here we go! Sundowns get us under way on a sunny afternoon in Soweto.
The two teams are out on the pitch and we're almost ready to go! The excitement is building in the crowd at the Orlando Stadium.
A depleted Pirates side will need to deal with a Sundowns team which has found some renewed confidence after thrashing Black Leopards 5-2 in their last game.
