AmaZulu will be hoping for a good start when they meet Supersport United at home at the King Zwelithini on Wednesday
After an impressive win against Golden Arrows, AmaZulu are looking confident to continue where they left off.
Despite a win there were still some missed chances that could have seen the home team leading by three goals in the first half. The game against United will be crucial and a true test for Usuthu. In fact this will be their first match against a club from another province this year.
Coach Craig Rosslee, said he is hoping for maximum points especially since they are playing at home, and with the players still in full confidence, from a win over the weekend.
“We seriously need to work on our finishing, if we are really serious about winning. SuperSport is a good team, and if we don’t utilise the opportunities that we create, we might regret it at the end of the day,” said Rosslee.
This time, goalscorer Ayanda Dlamini has not been scoring, but has played a crucial role in creating opportunities, and will be a player to watch. It is without doubt that scoring goals is a skill that is developed through habits, and it seems like the AmaZulu strikers are really adapting to that.
In the middle of the park, Thokozani Mshengu, will be the man that the visitors must get stuck on to, because they wouldn't want to give him space.
“I want every player to score goals, I am not only expecting goals from the strikers, but the midfield players as well, even the defenders for that matter.
SuperSport United's midfielder Edwin Gyimah is in good form and his experience might give AmaZulu a hard time. Gyimah provides speed and good passes in the park, but not only that, he is a good team player.
Gavin Hunt, who is best known for his technical side, will be hoping to walk away with a win, after having lost in the opening match against Orlando Pirates this year. Captain Thabo September, will be a key player in the defense. September is also expected to play an attacking role, as he has done in the previous matches.
