AmaZulu managed to bounce back to winning ways by beating Bloemfontein Celtic at home thanks to Ayanda Dlamini
In the first 10 minutes of the match Njabulo Manqana played a beautiful cross inside the box, but the loss of concentration and communication between him and Ayanda Dlamini saw the ball go to waste.
After that Celtic came strong showing a sense of urgency with Rodreck Mutuma initiating most of the moves up front. His effort was nearly rewarded with a strike that Tapuwa Kapini punched to Ruzaigh Gamildien who was off-side.
In the 33rd minute it was Celtic that broke in numbers into the USuthu area, but skipper Kapini had to lead by example as he made double saves to keep the home sides psychological advantage.
However both the teams failed to use all the opportunities that they had created. In the second half, Celtic came back strongly with a direct assault on the Usuthu defense.
Gamildien missed a great opportunity to open the scoring for Celtic when he was found alone in the box, but only to strike wide.
Dlamini then had a great opportunity but his header was tipped away by goalkeeper Patrick Tignyemb in the 69th minute.
In the 79th minute Celtic came close to scoring when Gamildien carried a ball forward, and passed it to Lyle Lakay who failed to beat Kapini.
A minute later it was Dlamini who finally wrote his name on the scoresheet when he struck home from inside the box with his right foot.
