Free State is coming into this match with a lot of pressure. They have not tasted victory over their past seven matches played in the PSL. The Steve Kompela team played to a 0-0 draw against the University of Pretoria in their last league encounter.

Kompela will also be coming into this match without his left back player Rueben Thebakang who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season. Other players that are facing injury problems are Katlego Mashego, Thapelo Morweng and Daniel Cardoso.

This time they will gear up and hope for a win against Craig Rosslee's boys who are playing beautiful, carpet football under their new coach.

Both the teams are struggling to convert their opportunities into goals. The visitors are sitting in 13th spot on the PSL log, having once feared relegation but are now hoping to move further up the table.

AmaZulu will be hoping to use their two former Free State Stars players Phumlani Mhamha and Luyanda Hlongwa and plan on returning home with full points.

Coach Craig Rosslee did confirm that this match will not be a walk in the park for them, but they will have to work hard.

“Free State Stars are a very good side, with a very smart coach on their side. I am sure they have also planned well for us and so it will not be an easy game. We are hoping to return with maximum points at home,” said Rosslee.
