Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to return to the summit with maximum points against Free State Stars at the FNB Stadium on Saturday night.
The Amakhosi surrendered their top spot after they failed to beat Mamelodi Sundowns in their previous match. However, Stuart Baxter’s men know that this game will offer them another chance to reclaim their top spot.
On the other hand, Free State Stars will want to continue where they left off against Chippa United during the week, although it’s going to be a different ball game, because they will be playing away from home.
Steve Komphela is expected to include Kennedy Mweene to his starting line-up against Kaizer Chiefs, as he cannot risk playing Tshepo Motsoeneng against the high-flying Amakhosi outfit.
Chiefs lie 2nd on the log with 10 wins from 17 games, while Stars are 8 points behind Kaizer Chiefs in 4th position, and a win against Chiefs on Saturday will consolidate their fourth spot.
