Club History
Originally named the Dallas Burn, the club was re-branded FC Dallas in 2005 following a move to the soccer-specific stadium, Pizza Hut Park. One of the original MLS franchises from the inaugural '96 season, Dallas have had varied success in the league, finishing second in the Supporters' Shield Race in 2006 but never winning the MLS Cup. In 1997 they won their only silverware, lifting the U.S. Open Cup trophy.
