Club History
One of MLS's most consistent and storied clubs, the Los Angeles Galaxy have more league wins than any other MLS team. The most glorious years were 2001 and 2002, during which the club won MLS Cup, the US Open Cup, and the CONCACAF Champions Cup. There has always been a steady stream of star players, e.g. Mexicans Carlos Hermosillo, Jorge Campos, and Luis Hernandez, and Americans Cobi Jones and Landon Donovan. The organization made history by signing David Beckham in 2007. The club moved from the Rose Bowl to the soccer-specific Home Depot Center in 2002, and have been the top-drawing team ever since.
