Top 10 2013 MLS MVP Candidates
9. Robbie Keane, LA Galaxy
Keane's 10 goals and nine assists are impressive in general. The fact that they have come in just 15 games sheds light on just how valuable Keane has been when on the field this season. His limited playing time does not help his MVP case, but the fact that the Galaxy are 3-6-1 when he hasn't played and 9-3-3 when he has most certainly does. The sheer magnitude of Keane's production (he has factored into 47.5 percent of LA's goals) can't be ignored. Keane has had two hat tricks, and his partnership and understanding with Landon Donovan still makes for one of -- if not the -- most feared tandems in the league. A healthy end to the season and a run at the Golden Boot with the Galaxy continuing to excel would make Keane's case incredibly compelling.
