David Beckham's possible destinations after leaving the Galaxy

Next 2. Snoop and Becks at Celtic?

1. Back to England

Beckham has been in the cross-hairs of Premier League teams for much of his time in Major League Soccer. In 2010, West Ham United co-owner David Gold confirmed that his club held discussions over a move for the iconic Englishman. Beckham has trained with Arsenal and after training with Tottenham in 2011, there were rumors of a transfer that never materialized. When Beckham resigned with MLS in 2012, he revealed he turned down offers from Premier League clubs to return to Los Angeles.

An EPL return is always a possibility, but it remains to be seen if Beckham would play for any team other than Manchester United, where he spent a large portion of his career. Additionally, now that he is clearly out of the national team picture, the motivation to finish his career at home would be slightly diminished.

David Beckham's possible destinations after leaving the Galaxy

It's official: MLS Cup will be David Beckham's final match with the LA Galaxy. In a release Monday, the 37-year-old stated that although he would be leaving Los Angeles, his career hadn't quite reached its conclusion.

"I've had an incredibly special time playing for the LA Galaxy," Beckham said. "However, I wanted to experience one last challenge before the end of my playing career."

After six seasons in MLS, the focus will now turn to Beckham's next move. Between loan spells, training stints, and the never-ending spinning of the rumor mill, there has been plenty of speculation around Beckham's next destination throughout his time in LA. Now that he's leaving Southern California for sure, take a look at some possibilities for the soccer icon's next step.
