Thomas Kahlenberg - Auxerre
Thomas Kahlenberg -  He made his Superliga debut for Brondby against arch-rivals FC Copenhagen, in the penultimate match of the 2001-02 season. The result was a 1-1 draw, which helped Brondby secure the Danish championship on goal difference.

During his first years at Brondby, Kahlenberg played in central midfield, where he set up the attacks with his great technique and view for the game. He was later moved to the left side of midfield.

He made his national team debut in April 2003. In the summer of 2005 he joined French club Auxerre. He played for Auxerre for four years and in his first season he made the most assists of all the players in the French Ligue 1 Championship.

German club Wolfsburg secured his services in 2009 but immediately after joining the newly crowned champions, Kahlenberg suffered an injury which kept him out until October 2009.

He has since found it hard to establish himself in the first team especially after new coach Lorenz-Gunther Kostner has taken over the reins but he is still in Morten Olsen's plans.

Did you know?

He was Brondby's league top scorer in the 2004-05 season which helped the club win the double.
