Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal is considered to be one of the world’s best, and his son is not a bad little player either.
The Chile international has risen to the top of his profession, collecting numerous major honours as he goes.
Vidal was a multiple Serie A title winner at Juventus and has gone on to claim two Bundesliga crowns with Bayern.
That ability clearly runs in his family, with the 30-year-old having taken a break from training to prove that his son Alonso – who suffers from Type 1 Diabetes – knows his way to the back of the net.
Vidal has pushed for children in Chile to have better access to diabetes-related healthcare on the back of his son’s condition.
Alonso is also a regular at his dad’s matches and can often be found mingling with global superstars in the dressing room after games.
This is not the first time either that his footballing ability has been showcased by his father on social media.
The Vidal family will be hoping to have plenty more cause for celebration this season, with Bayern seeking to add further domestic and European honours to the DFL Supercup they have already secured.
