Sylvester Igboun was on song as Ufa sealed a 2-0 win over Progres Niederkorn in Thursday’s Uefa Europa League qualifying fixture.

The 27-year-old registered his second successive effort for the Townspeople, after Monday’s league goal against Anzhi Makhachkala.

Igboun broke the deadlock for the Russian Premier League side in the 38th minute before Ivan Oblyakov's doubled his side's lead in the 64th minute.

The former Midtjylland attacker was on parade for the entire duration while compatriot Kehinde Fatai was introduced in the 83rd minute.

Sergey Tomarov’s charges now hold a two-goal advantage ahead of their trip to Luxembourg for the return leg of third qualifying round of the tournament on July 16.

Ufa face Krasnodar for their next Russian top-flight fixture on Monday.
