A gesture to promote peace in football has seen Queretaro punished by Mexican football's disciplinary committee.

The Liga MX side emerged for their league match against Pumas with a message, as the players held t-shirts which spelled out "Rivalry is not violence", in response to chaotic incidents in the fixture between Veracruz and Tigres.
Fans launched objects at the players, while Tigres coach Ricardo Ferretti was involved in an altercation with a police officer.
Both teams have been heavily punished by Mexican football's governing body, but Queretaro are also to be fined.
Queretaro have been fined 113,235 Mexican pesos - about €5,000 - for relaying the message of peace to the fans.
As well as the t-shirt demonstration, there were also banners around the stadium to reiterate their stance.
It was not all bad for Los Gallos Blancos, though, as they at least won the game 4-3.
