Juventus suffer worst first-half for over 10 years!

Thanks to a stunning first half performance from Genoa, Juventus found themselves on the end of a 3-0 scoreline after just 45 minutes for the first time since 2005.

Two goals from Giovanni Simeone, son of Atletico manager Diego, and an Alex Sandro own goal ensured The Old Lady suffered their worst half time deficit in over a decade, with Genoa becoming the first team since AC Milan in 2005 to score as many past them in the opening 45 minutes.

As well as turning the game against the Serie A champions heavily in his side's favour, Giovanni has followed in his fathers footsteps by scoring against Juventis a total of 6084 days after Simeone senior did playing for Lazio.

A defeat would leave Juventus four points clear of Milan at the top of the Serie A table.
