The home side took the lead just before half-time through an own goal and it seemed as if Persib would have a woeful day. But up stepped Patrich Wanggai with a brace that propelled his team to all three points.

He showed brilliant ball control before dispatching off a superb volley to equalise in first-half injury time. He then put Persib 2-1 up in the 83rd minute with a left-footed finish off Jonathan Baumann's cross.
