Suwon Bluewings' Dejan Damjanovic has been chosen as last week's Fans' Asian Player of the Week, following his impressive performance in his team's 3 -0 win over Jeonbuk Motors in the AFC Champions League
The 37-year-old scored a brace to stun the Korean outfit. He was also named Goal's Asian Player of the Week.
Though Jeonbuk were dominating the game, Elvis Saric's low cross from the left was turned in Dejan Damjanovic at the far post in the 75th minute to shock them. Damjanovic then made it 2-0 in the 82nd minute when he controlled a knock-down from Lee Jong-sung and rifled home.
Also in the fray for the honour were Serginho of Kashima Antlers and Lucas Mendes of Al Duhail, who were also impressive in their side's wins.
But the fans made their voice count as Damjanovic received a whopping majority of the votes.
