France midfielder Yohan Cabaye thinks his side can win Euro 2016 but has admitted to worries over security ahead of the tournament on home soil.
The Crystal Palace schemer played in the Stade de France encounter against Germany back in November that was subject to one of the coordinated terrorist attacks which resulted in 130 people being killed across the French capital.
Meanwhile, Palace's FA Cup final opponents Manchester United had to reschedule their match with Bournemouth last Sunday after a mistake by a private security firm led to a 'bomb scare' and police abandoning the match.
Cabaye, 30, expressed his fears that security issues are becoming increasingly prevalent in football, but is determined to try and focus on enjoying this summer's showpiece on home soil.

"I don't know. It's difficult to talk about it. Those kind of things happen too much for me," stated Cabaye. "Unfortunately crazy people do wrong things. It could happen anywhere at any time but if we keep thinking this, we don't live. We just have to stay positive and live our life."
"On Saturday there is a big game, in the summer there is a big tournament, we just have to enjoy those things and speak about football and nothing else."
France will be putting major security operations in place for Euro 2016 with around 2.5 million spectators expected to attend matches and many more visiting the country without tickets.
The country remains on high alert following November's attacks and Ziad Khoury, the Security Director for Euro 2016, told Reuters that the event is "the biggest security effort for the public or private sector ever in France."
On the pitch, Cabaye will compete with fellow Premier League stars Dimitri Payet and N'Golo Kante for a starting place in Didier Deschamps' side.
The hosts are many observers' favourites and Cabaye believes the French squad has sufficient quality to emerge victorious.
"We play to win, we are going to work for it and we are the hosts, hopefully the fans and crowd will be with us," said Cabaye. It will be a good chance to go through the competition and win it.
"We have a good team, there are a few other good teams as well. We're going to work and start with Romania, try and win the three games in the group stage and then play game-by-game. Our target is to go to the end and win it."
Cabaye also went on to pick out England as potential dark horses for the tournament.
He added: "I think maybe Belgium, Spain and Germany [are favourites rather than France]. I don't want to forget England as well, because England have a good young team. Maybe they can be there for the semi or final."
The 30-year-old was speaking ahead of Saturday's FA Cup with Manchester United which kicks off at 17:30 GMT and offers him the opportunity of a first trophy in English football.
