Algerian giants JS Kabylie have completed the signing of Burundian striker Fiston Abdul Razak from Iraqi side Al-Zawraa on a three-year deal.
Razak becomes the first ever player from Burundi to sign for an Algerian club, having previously turned out for Mamelodi Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic in South Africa.
According to reports from Algeria, the Burundian international needed a two-week trial period with Kabylie before finally impressing and completing his move.
The move to Algeria comes after spending just seven months with his former Iraqi club whom he helped win the Iraqi Premier League with just four goals during his brief stint which began in January this year.
He has also played in Angola for Primiero do Agosto and Kenyan side Sofapaka.
Burundi visit Gabon next month for their second 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, with Razak expected to continue with his national team form.
He was on target in the 3-0 thumping of South Sudan in their opening qualifying match last year.
