The 21-year-old has been named in the squad for Barcelona's friendly in Poland and is likely to make his debut for the Spanish giant.
The $75 million signing from Santos had his first training session with his new teammates on Monday after arriving over the weekend from his post-Confederations Cup break. The rest of the Blaugrana squad who participated in this summer’s tournament will not make the trip to Poland, but will instead take part in two practice sessions on Tuesday.
Neymar will join the 21 players who returned from Germany and Norway, with the exception of Javier Mascherano, who will remain in Barcelona.
The following squad has been named for Tuesday’s friendly against Lechia Gdansk:
Pinto, Oier, Montoya, Bartra, Adriano, Song, Sergi Roberto, Dos Santos, Messi, Tello, Neymar, Alexis, Sergi Gomez, Planas, Joan Roman, Dani Nieto, Bagnack, Samper, Ilie, Patric, Dongou, Espinosa and Kiko Femenia.
