The Spain youth international is looking forward to the Brazilian's arrival at Camp Nou but warned him about a potential clash of personalities
The Catalan giants announced on Sunday they will sign the Brazilian star from Santos in a deal worth 28 million euros, beating rival Real Madrid in the race to bring him to Europe.
And while Montoya is excited about his team's future addition, he has warned the 21-year-old that the Argentine star is the main man at Camp Nou.
"The signing of Neymar is the bombshell," 22-year-old explained to Marca. "It's going to be amazing. However, Messi is the main master of Barca and Neymar will have to adapt to the team and especially Leo.
"Leo is a great person. If Neymar behaves well, he will get along with Messi. Leo gets along with everyone."
The defender went on to admit that he would have liked more playing time this season but insisted that he wants to remain at Camp Nou.
"I'm happy. I have a contract until 2014. I would have liked to have played more minutes this season," he explained. "Next season I want to play at least 30 games. My campaign has been positive and I played more than I expected."
