The veteran goalkeeper says he feels lucky to represent the Catalan giants after prolonging his stay at Camp Nou by another year.Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Pinto has put pen to paper a new contract, which binds him to the club until 2014.
The 37-year-old's current deal was set to expire at the end of the season, but he has elected to prolong his stay at Camp Nou for at least another 12 months.
"I feel fortunate to make history with this wonderful team," Pinto told the club's official website.
Pinto joined the Blaugrana from Celta de Vigo on loan in January 2008, and made his switch permanent the following summer. He has had 15 appearances in La Liga for the Catalans since his arrival at the club, with the bulk of his playing time coming in cup competitions.
